HPI, OpenContent Web Services and Alfresco

Many of our clients have improved the user experience for their document management systems by implementing our HPI (High Performance Interface) application.  And while HPI’s first deployment used the Documentum implementation of OpenContent, its architecture also allows it to run on top of OpenContent for Alfresco.

OpenContent’s web services act as the translating layer, providing nearly all the same features, functionality, and configuration regardless of the underlying document management platform. The primary benefit is that our HPI solutions are now highly portable between platforms. While there are always intricacies in how vendors implement functions, this architecture localizes development changes primarily to the OpenContent layer.
