Salesforce.com Dreamforce Conclusion
Published September 21, 2012 Alfresco , Cloud Computing , Dreamforce , Salesforce , Web Content Management , Workflow 2 CommentsThe Salesforce.com Dreamforce convention is winding so we thought we would share our thoughts on what we observed and heard over the past week.
As always, the convention offered a lot of fanfare and excitement mixed with tons of useful knowledge from the over 800 sessions. For the most part we are convinced that the Social Enterprise is gaining a significant amount of traction, and more and more companies are looking for ways to move their legacy systems from on-premise to the cloud. Salesforce.com continues to invest significantly in developing their Platform and being the industry leader with Cloud systems.
Integrating Solutions in the Cloud with Alfresco
Published August 24, 2012 Alfresco , Cloud Computing Leave a CommentAs our clients move to a cloud-based architecture one of the most significant benefits in deploying Alfresco is the ability to leverage its APIs and integrate it with complementary products providing complete solutions. There are also several ways to extend the repository including developing sub-systems and creating new modules. There are several out of the box integrations Alfresco provides as well such as Ephesoft, Drupal, and Liferay. Continue reading ‘Integrating Solutions in the Cloud with Alfresco’
Improving Solutions with Alfresco Cloud and Integrations
Published August 17, 2012 Alfresco , Cloud Computing , HPI Leave a CommentMoving documents and data fluidly within and between companies electronically has been a goal since people first started storing data in a computer. While, I’m sure every one of us believed we would one day rid ourselves of the multi-colored carbon copy forms I’m not so sure we foresaw the less than elegant ways systems have been cobbled together. The back-end architecture of several older or early-adopter systems is less than stellar. With advances from Alfresco cloud computing and synchronization we are moving closer to not only delivering the solutions the business needs but also eliminating the technical headaches of system integration.
