We wanted to thank Rich Medina from Doculabs for a nice mention of our Complaince Solution/HPI in his post on How to select a Life Sciences Document Managment Solution.  We agree with Rich that “the emergence of non-Documentum options as serious candidates to manage controlled documents in the life sciences industry” is something we are seeing more and more. Document Migrations – What do you need to know?

When we first meet with clients who are interested in using OpenMigrate to meet a migration need, they typically know that they need to move documents from one system to another, but many times they haven’t yet identified all of the specific migration requirements.  Determining and discussing this information as early as possible is helpful to minimize the migration effort and ensure that the documents are migrated in a way that makes them useable and accessible to the appropriate users.

Documentum Email Integration – A Simple Approach

We have posted recently about a variety of email solutions including leveraging IMAP as well as issues with drag and drop functionality leveraging MyDocumentum for Outlook or Webtop.  This post will review the use of the “forward” button to provide an email client neutral approach for ingesting emails into Documentum.
