Thanks to all of you that again made our Momentum EMC World our most successful posting days. This year was an interesting time. It really made our day to get feedback that many of you look forward to the summaries as well as how the blogs throughout the year have helped with Documentum-related decisions throughout the year. NY Philharmonic Digital Archives – 2012 Alfresco Implementation of the Year

TSG’s work with the New York Philharmonic Digital Archives was recently named 2012 Alfresco Implementation of the Year. We wanted to thank the team at the NY Philharmonic for giving TSG the opportunity to work with them and providing the vision of what the Digital Archives is today. The digital archives provides a perfect example of how open source technologies can be leveraged to create a robust and scalable enterprise solution. Using OpenMigrate for high volume content ingestion, OpenAnnotate for face tagging, Solr for faceted search, with Alfresco as the central repository make up the key architectural components driving its success. We look forward to continue working with the New York Philharmonic as they innovate and expand the digital archives.

The New York Philharmonic will be hosting a Google Hangout tomorrow to discuss the new release of Digital Archives material from 1943-1970 (International Era). Scholars from around the world will be participating to discuss the content, and the historic tours from that time period under Leonard Bernstein.

Documentum , Weblogic and DM_DFC_E_BAD_CLASS error

The issue arises from the CLASSPATH having the file “dfc.jar” added to it. We thought we would document the thoughts here for other client’s reference.
